K-Drama Corner #1

How's it going everyone? :D

I'm currently skipping school lol. My stomach is hurting like hell and I don't really do anything at school anyway so.. better be at home.

Since it's such a nice day, I kinda don't really want to spend the day sleeping, so here I am!

I will give you some of Korean Dramas that I really like (which some of them are not really famous), so if you have free time or when you're bored you can watch them!

So here we go!

Mad Dog 

Genre : Thriller & Suspense, Crime, Mystery, Drama

I loved this drama A LOT! basically there are a group with bunch of people who wants to fight for justice and they meet this one guy named Kim Min Joon (or his German name, Jan Gebauer) and they start to work together to-of course, fight for justice.

I really recommend this drama for those who loves action with a little bit of romance spices! Woo Do-Hwan is soooo gorgeous in this drama. The story also goes so well with the characters. 

Squad 38

Genre : Comedy, Crime, Investigation

Con artists dramas are the best! >:D I know they aren't good people, but who cares anyway!! (lies though they're actually good people it's just that the way they work is not in a normal way)

So yeah, this drama is about a group of people who are actually con artists. But sshhh, they are actually good people okay, they try to deceive bad people who use the money of the civilians and they are so good at it!! Good for those who likes to guess what are their next moves xD

Lookout 

Genre : Action, Drama, Suspense, Thriller.

Again, bunch of people fighting for justice in interesting ways. (I'm sorry ok but the next part is going to be other genre!) I really loved this drama because... Kim Young-Kwang, can you not?

It started off with a mother who lost her child by a murderer. She wanted revenge yet instead the police and the law wasn't on the same side as her. So she ran away and started to find the murderer by herself, and met with the group who are also searching for bad people like her. 

Just to warn you it has kind of like a sad ending (for me especially *cries*), and sometimes too much drama, but overall it's a very good drama!

Because This is My First Life

Genre : Romantic, Comedy, Slice of Life

Very realistic and very heart-warming drama. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED for those who loves slice-of-life thingy! I am totally in love with the story since it's sometimes sooo relatable (except I don't have a love life lmao)

So this drama is about a guy and a girl looking for a house(mate) and they accidentaly meet with each other. Things got a little bit deeper and yep, their feelings grow for each other.

For romance drama, the plot is a little bit slow, I give you that. But I think that's what makes it gives the feeling or warm and cozy love story.

Just Between Lovers

Genre : Romance, Melodrama

BEST KDRAMA I'VE WATCHED JUST RECENTLY! 

I was never the type who fancy melodrama genre, but this one is.. this one is perfecto.

It's about a story of a guy and a girl who are the survival of an accident in a shopping mall, and they are trying hard to get back to their normal life.

I REALLY LOVED this drama since I can relate sooo much to Gang-Doo. He is such a cinnamon roll! I need to protect him!! Oh wait, not just him, I'm in love with the relationship between all characters. It's just... so wonderful. Even the soundtracks matched with every scene, I LOVE IT.

I still remember the quote from the grandma about Gang-Doo, which is : "When Gang-Doo loves something, he tend to push it away from himself" (sorry if it's not correct, I write it based off my memories) and it struck me like a lightning. because, SAME BOI, SAME.

My Ahjussi

Genre : (mellow) Drama, Slice of Life

I LOVE THIS DRAMA A LOT!!! I was expecting a cliche age-gap love story, but then this drama hit me in the face for even assuming things like that.

There are so many things that I love in this drama. For example, how they show so many detailed things so we can actually feel absorbed in the drama. Or how the lines are just very thoughtfully written by the writers, it totally gave me so many advises that I didn't know i need in my life.

Also, I really want to show you how much respect i have to the OSTs they made for this drama because damn, all of the lyrics had me thought about life dude. This drama is super sad, i give you that, but it's also super amazing. This is the third mellow-drama i've ever watched (after Goblin and JBL, idk if you would consider Goblin as a mellow-drama, but for me it is so f off.) and I don't regret watching it at all. Would totally recommend you this drama if you're mentally prepared for niagara falls from your eyes.
